Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, H.E. Egemen BAĞIŞ received the SMIIC Delegation at the Ortaköy Office of the Ministry. The Acting Secretary General of Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK), Mr. Halil İbrahim ÇETİN, accompanied the SMIIC delegation at the meeting.

 

During the meeting, the Secretary General briefly introduced SMIIC, its establishment and latest activities. He also expressed his appreciation to TÜRKAK, an affiliated institution of Ministry of EU Affairs and Chairman of Accreditation Committee of SMIIC for their valuable work in SMIIC.

 

H.E. Egemen BAĞIŞ stated that SMIIC is an institution that has been putting great effort into developing harmonized standards for the Islamic countries.
