Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT, Secretary General of SMIIC and his accompanying delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mrs. Elena SANTIAGO CID, Director General of CEN-CENELEC on 26 October 2015 in Brussels, Belgium.
During the meeting, following a brief presentation on the activities and structure of SMIIC, the discussion focused on the possible cooperation between SMIIC and CEN-CENELEC in terms of promoting standards of each parties among Member States.
Both parties expressed their desires to contribute to strengthening the relationship between two organizations in standardization and its related fields.
