The forum aimed at boosting trade by providing an exhibition area of halal products from different countries and a platform for sharing information, exchanging and exploring partnership strategies between relevant parties and also training and scientific moderation sessions on doing and the know-how in the Halal Business.

During the Working Session II with the theme ”Investment opportunities in the Halal agribusiness Sector in the OIC African countries”, a comprehensive presentation on SMIIC and Halal Standards was delivered to provide an overview of standardization, accreditation, metrology and conformity assessment activities being carried out under the umbrella of SMIIC.
