SMIIC delegation attended the 1st meeting of the Trade and Investment Sub Committee (TISC) held on 16-17 March 2016 in Marrakesh, Kingdom of Morocco.
Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT, Secretary General and his accompanying delegation attended the 1st meeting of the Trade and Investment Sub Committee (TISC) held on 16-17 March 2016 in Marrakesh, Kingdom of Morocco. The TISC meeting was attended by the representatives of the relevant OIC Institutions.
The TISC was established at the first Annual Coordination Meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation Institutions (ACMOI) which took place in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 07-08 December 2015.
During the meeting a task force composed of ICDT, IDB Group and SMIIC was established to design an integrated OIC three year Halal Industry Program; to collate all ongoing actions on Halal under this program by joint implementation and so on.
