SMIIC delegation attended the 3rd OIC Occupational Safety and Health Network (OSHNET) meeting held on 10 May 2016 in İstanbul.
Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT, Secretary General and his accompanying delegation attended the 3rd OIC Occupational Safety and Health Network (OSHNET) meeting held on 10 May 2016 in İstanbul within the 8th International Conference on Occupational Safety and Health.
The meeting is aimed to provide a platform for ensuring continuous improvement in work places and promoting the rights of workers for sustainability and well-being of societies.
During the meeting, member countries are urged to strengthen cooperation for the promotion of Occupational Safety and Health by increasing participation in the implementation of policies at OIC-level and strengthening capacities through exchange of experts, long term training programmes, joint projects and field visits.
