Mr. İhsan Övüt paid a courtesy visit on the 30th of June 2017 to the Agence Burkinabé de Normalisation, de Métrologie et de la Qualité (ABNORM), Burkina Faso and had a meeting with Mr. Marcel Sinka, Chairman, and Mr. KY Oumarou, Director General were they discussed the latest activities ABNORM and possible future cooperation on the activities of SMIIC. Both parties had the opportunity to exchange views on the current projects of SMIIC and expressed their commitment to enhance the competence of SMIIC especially in standardization activities. SMIIC would like to thank both Mr. Marcel Sinka and Director General, Mr. KY and the ABNORM team for the warm welcome and great hospitality.
