As a part of the program of the World Halal Summit 2017 - Istanbul, the 7th Global Islamic Microfinance Forum; was also held on November 24-25, 2017 in İstanbul.
The Secretary General Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT participated in the inaugural session of the forum as a guest of honour and made an opening speech. During the event, the prominent speakers from at least 30 countries delivered presentations on topics like “funding challenges faced by Islamic microfinance institutions (MFIs)”, “the potential of Islamic microfinance”, “Micro Takaful, Waqf and Zakat – Supportive elements for Islamic microfinance”…etc.
