SMIIC Secretary General, Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT paid a courtesy visit on the 21 June 2018 to the newly appointed Chairman of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) H.E. Prof. Dr. Adem ŞAHİN in Ankara, Turkey.

As an important member of SMIIC, the Secretary General congratulated Prof. Dr. Adem ŞAHİN on his new position, made a brief presentation on the current activities and developments in SMIIC. Discussions were made regarding the future SMIIC projects and meetings.
