SMIIC Secretary General, H.E. İhsan ÖVÜT attended the Indonesia International Halal Lifestyle Conference and Business Forum 2018 held on 03-04 October 2018, in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia which was a platform hosting representatives from diverse sectors and gave an opportunity to introduce SMIIC in Indonesia.

Mr. Övüt gave a presentation on “OIC/SMIIC Standards on Halal Issues and Halal Quality Infrastructure” and explained the activities of SMIIC, role of SMIIC at Halal conformity assessment activities and in the Halal Quality Infrastructure.
