H.E. Mr. Yousef Hasan KHALAWI, Secretary General of Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of SMIIC on 13 June 2019.

During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation on SMIIC and halal quality infrastructure was delivered and both parties exchanged views on possible cooperation areas.

It was also discussed to ensure the participation of ICCIA in SMIIC Technical Committees as the representative of the private sector of OIC countries and decided to strengthen ongoing collaboration between two institutions by holding further meetings for activities of mutual interest.
