The seventh SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 was Training on General Metrology for Halal Laboratories was held on the 19 October 2021 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat and was attended by 41 experts from SMIIC Member States.
The training was given by the host NMI: IMBiH-Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina
General Description: The training covers IMBiH’s knowledge transfer and experiences in establishing HALAL laboratory and metrological traceability for HALAL certification
Objective: To transfer knowledge in terms of metrological aspects of HALAL testing
Who should attend: The training would be attended by staff working in National Metrology Institutes and HALAL testing laboratories and certification bodies
