H.E. Dr. Haoua Brahim DJABAYE - DG of The Chadian Standardization Agency (ATNOR) and Her Accompanying Delegate paid a courtesy visit to SMIIC Headquarters and a three-day training on Standardization and Quality Infrastructure addressed to ATNOR was held on 02-04 March 2022 at SMIIC Headquarters.

Within the scope of the Training, following presentations and field visits were organized:
- SMIIC and its Activities
- Establishment of a Technical Committee
- Development and Adoption of Standards (OIC/ SMIIC 1,2,3)
- Establishment of National Quality Infrastructure
- Certification of Food Products (sample of certified products)
- Basic Information on Conformity Assessment Activities, Methodology and Sampling
- Technical visit to the Laboratories in TSE Quality Campus and the TUBITAK UME.

The training was successfully completed and very productive. SMIIC will continue to organize capacity building trainings for its members in line with the SMIIC Strategy 2021-2030.
