The 19th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V2 was the Seminar on Joint Projects Related to the Future Pandemics and Sensor Technologies took place on the 14 April 2022 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 25 experts participated in the training.
The training is hosted by NMI: Tübitak UME – Turkey
General Description: The seminar covers general and practical aspects of optical and electrochemical detection of biologically and environmentally important species (sensor technologies).
Objective, expected outcome: To provide knowledge in R&D activities related to COVID-19 pandemics (optical and electrochemical sensors for detection of the virus or its specific parts).
Who should attend: The seminar should be attended by staff willing to R&D activities or provide cooperation about chemical and biological sensor technologies in research institutes.
