The 22st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V2 was the training on Principles and Applications of RF and Microwave Measurements that took place on the 09 May 2022 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 09 experts participated in the training.
The training was hosted by NMI: SASO National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)
General Description: The training covers information on different RF and Microwave measurements, and the applications which get benefits of these measurements.
Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to clarify the basics of microwave measurement subject and different parameters, which are required to be measured in the field of microwave engineering. The program also aims to show the methods of measuring the RF power, and scattering parameters.
Who should attend: The training should be attended by the staff working in RF and microwave laboratories at the level of national metrology institutes or secondary level calibration laboratories.
