H.E İhsan ÖVÜT, paid an official visit to H.E. Mr. BOOTO à NGON Charles, Director General of the Agence des Normes et de la Qualite (ANOR), Vice-Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the SMIIC Strategy Committee. Both parties had a fruitful working session.

After the welcome address of Mr. BOOTO à NGON Charles, Mr. ÖVÜT thanked the ANOR for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to SMIIC delegation and explained briefly the role of the Republic of Cameroon as new Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMIIC and Chairman of the SMIIC Strategy Committee.

Mr. Mohamadou AWAL, consellor N3 in ANOR and the SMIIC Focal Point in Cameroon stated the importance of the cooperation between SMIIC and Cameroon and provided recommendations in order to further strengthening this cooperation.

At the end of the session, Mr. ÖVÜT and Mr. BOOTO delivered "the certificates of participation" to the Cameroonian participants to the OIC/SMIIC 1:2019 (General Requirements for Halal Food) and OIC/SMIIC 4:2018 (Halal Cosmetics – General Requirements) standards training held virtually.
