The 29th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V2 was the Calibration of Thermometers by Comparison Method that took place on the  15 August 2022 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat.  18 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: SASO National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)

General Description: The training covered information on definition of thermometers and thermocouple and the applications, which get benefits of these measurements.
Objective: This training course aimed to clarify the basic definition of thermometers and knowledge of the types of thermometers and ways to calibration them.
Who should attend: The training should be attended by the staff working in Contact Thermometry laboratories at the level of national metrology institutes or secondary level calibration laboratories.
