H.E Mrs. Rahba Muhammad, Acting Director General of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) and her accompanying delegation paid a courtesy visit to SMIIC headquarters on 18 August 2022.

H.E Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT, Secretary General of SMIIC welcomed the SSMO delegation and expressed his happiness with this honorable visit which will support the frameworks of cooperation between the two organizations.

For her part, H.E. Mrs. Rahba Muhammad affirmed Sudan's continual support for SMIIC and its activities, and also expressed her thanks and gratitude for the hospitality shown during the visit.

The visit was very fruitful, as there were discussions on means of future cooperation and ways for strengthening the role of SMIIC in supporting its Member States.
