The 40st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was the Calibration of Digital Thermometer that took place on the 24 May 2023 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 22 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: SASO National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)

General Description: The training covers information on definition of digital thermometer by and the applications, which get benefits of these measurements.

Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to clarify the basic definition of Thermometry the applications of some activity, which get benefits of these measurements, which are required to be measured in the field of Contact Thermometry.

Who should attend: The training should be attended by the staff working in Contact Thermometry laboratories at the level of national metrology institutes or secondary level calibration laboratories.
