The 54st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was Creation of Secondary Standard Dosimetry Laboratory based on IAEA requirements that took place on the 26 October 2023 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 14 experts participated in the training.
The training was hosted by NMI: UZNIM
General Description: The training provides general information about Secondary Standards Dosimetry Laboratories and technical information for countries on how to establish SSDL.
Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to:
- show the main objectives and scope of the SSDLs;
- provide information on feasibility studies and master planning;
- demonstrate best practices and lessons learned
Who should attend: The training should be attended by the responsible staff for creating SSDL and SSDL staff.
