The rising health concern about the harmful effects of ingredients used to produce cosmetic products, coupled with the growing Muslim population has resulted in increasing demand for halal cosmetic products.
The objective of the standard is to address the requirement for the production of halal cosmetic products to meet the challenges of the growing demand for halal cosmetic products.
The standard was formulated based on the concept of halal that integrates the requirement of halal as part of the overall management and control systems to ensure that the production of halal cosmetic products is produced in accordance with Islamic rules.

The training on OIC/SMIIC 4:2018 is virtually between 29-30 November 2023.
The course language will be English.
Training Objectives:
The training is designed to give the foundation knowledge regarding Halal Cosmetics, the Halal cosmetics industry, requirements, and implementation of the OIC/SMIIC 4:2018 General Requirements for Halal Cosmetics. And how the organization should align its business to the Halal requirements as a new business opportunity

The training program will be held online over the ZOOM® application.
Training investment/fee
The participation fee is 300 USD per person / two days including the exam and will give a discount of 15% for groups of 5 persons, and the exam will be on a Google form. The successful trainees who pass the online exam with 70 % and above will be awarded a certificate of Successful Completion and others will be awarded a certificate of Participation with below 70 %.
