The 56st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was the Development of Buffer Solution Certified Reference Materials for pH Using Baucke Cell that took place on the 15 November 2023   virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 15 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: SASO NMCC

General Description: The training covers general and practical aspects of Chemistry Metrology “Development of Buffer solution reference materials certified for pH using Baucke cell”.

Objective, expected outcome: To provide knowledge and to develop the skills of participants in the Certified buffer solutions production.

Who should attend: The training would be attended by staff working in electrochemical laboratories producing buffer solutions of pH4, pH7 and pH10 at their NMIs.
