The OIC/SMIIC 24:2020 T standard sets the requirements and conditions needed for food additives and any other added chemicals (processing aids, flavourings, added nutrients, enzymes) used during food production to ensure that the final product is halal and safe to consume in OIC countries and all over the world.
It also defines the halal status of food additives in foodstuffs intended for human consumption. It sets a list of doubtful and non-halal food additives and the needed action for each of them.

The training for OIC/SMIIC 24:2020 will be held between 03-04 July 2024.

The course language will be English.

Training Objectives: 

This training program will provide the participants with knowledge and understanding about the requirements and conditions that need to be met for  food additives and any other added chemicals to be halal.

Who should attend the training?

All experts working in the area of Halal certification. The training program will be held online over the ZOOM® application. 

Training investment/fee

The participation fee is 250 USD per person / two days including the exam and will give a discount of 10% for groups of 5 persons, and the exam will be on a Google form. The successful trainees who pass the online exam with 70 % and above will be awarded a certificate of Successful Completion and others will be awarded a certificate of Participation with below 70 %.
