SMIIC MC Training in Calibration of signal generator, oscillograph measuring devices according to frequency indicator and calculation of uncertainties

The 1st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V1 was the Calibration of signal generator, oscillograph measuring devices according to frequency indicator and calculation of uncertainties  that took place on the 12 September 2024 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 07 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: Uzbek National Metrology Institue (UZNIM)

General Description: The training provides general information about Calibration of signal generator, oscillograph measuring devices according to frequency indicator and calculation of uncertainties. 

Objective, expected outcome:

 This training course aims to:

  • show the frequency measurement setup and process;
  • provide information on calibration of signal generator, oscillograph measuring devices according to frequency indicator;
  • frequency uncertainty calculation;
  • demonstrate best practices and lessons learned

Who should attend: The training should be attended by the responsible staff for Time and frequency, Radiofrequency labs.
