The 13th SMIIC Technical Committee (TC) Week Meetings were held from September 22nd to 28th, 2024, in Istanbul, Turkey. The event witnessed the participation of 326 delegates from 27 prominent organizations, representing countries including Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, and Uganda.
The occasion featured a blend of in-person and online participation, illustrating the global scope of the SMIIC community. Throughout the week, plenary meetings were characterized by their constructive and efficient nature as Technical Committees diligently progressed their projects and established strategic business plans.
