The 9th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V1 was the Calibration of hydraulic and pneumatic piston gauges and uncertainty calculations based on the Guidelines on the Calibration of Pressure Balances, EURAMET Calibration Guide No. 3  that took place on the 31 October 2024 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 22 experts participated in the training.

General Description: The training covers information on the calibration of hydraulic and pneumatic piston gauges and uncertainty calculations according to the guide EUARMET cg3

Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to provide general information on how to calibrate piston pressure standards

Who should attend: This course is designed for researchers and technicians who work in national metrology institutes or related laboratories and who perform or plan to perform piston pressure standard calibration.
