The 24st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V2 was the training Calibration of Non destructive Measurement Devices (Thickness Gauges) that took place on the 23 May 2022 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 13 experts participated in the training.
The training was hosted by NMI: Tübitak UME – Turkey
General Description: The training covers general information and working principles of ultrasonic thickness gauges, calibration of thickness gauges.
Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to get basic information about ultrasonic thickness gauge and its calibration.
Who should attend: The training should be attended by the staff working in metrology laboratories at the level of national metrology institutes or secondary level calibration laboratories.
