SMIIC Secretary General and his accompanying delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) headquarters on 03 April 2015. 

During the fruitful meeting, latest developments of SMIIC and JAKIM's support for SMIIC activities in harmonizing halal standards were discussed. Also, It has been agreed to collaborate in the halal standards field under the umbrella of SMIIC to  have strong relations as a symbol of solidarity between the two institutions for the benefit of Ummah.
