SMIIC Accreditation Committee (AC) Lead Assessor/Assessor training programme was organized on 25-27 November 2015 in İstanbul, Republic of Turkey.

The training programme aimed at establishing an expert pool which will be comprised of competent Muslim experts for the implementation of halal accreditation practices under the SMIIC AC.

Experts from SMIIC AC Member Bodies fulfilling the prerequisites specified in the relevant guides and documents attended the Lead Assessor/Assessor training and those who have proven their proficiency will be included in the pool as Assessors.
