SMIIC Secretary General, Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT attended as Honourable Guest and Speaker of the 9th International Moscow Halal Congress and opening ceremony of the Russian Halal Expo-Congress Exhibition, Muslim Religious Organization of the Russian Federation which took place on the April 26, 2018 in Moscow-Russian Federation. He made a presentation on “OIC/SMIIC Standards on Halal Issues and Halal Quality Infrastructure”.  A courtesy visit was held with the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
