H.E. Dr. Saad Al-Kasabi, Governor, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMIIC for the term 2018-2020 and his accompanying delegation paid a courtesy visit to the SMIIC General Secretariat at the SMIIC  headquarters on the 22 June 2018 in İstanbul, Turkey.

A brief presentation was given by the General Secretariat regarding the current developments and activities of SMIIC and discussions took place whilst focusing also on the SMIIC Strategic Plan. Dr. Saad Al-Kasabi gave information to SMIIC Staff about Strategic plans and other issues, and stressed that he will give all kinds of support to SMIIC in these regards. Discussions took place on many SMIIC matters. SMIIC Secretary General and Staff thanked Dr. Saad Al-Kasabi for this important visit.
