SMIIC has announced that its 8th Technical Committee Week will be held online for the first time, following concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Technical Committees meetings will take place virtually between 21 September and 15 October 2020. SMIIC General Secretariat will arrange and host the meetings. 

The meetings will be scheduled consecutively and "Zoom" software will be used. Up to 100 participants can join a meeting at the same time.

Each Member State can participate in the meetings of committees where they have P- or O- Membership. Therefore, if a member state is neither P-Member or O-Member to a committee, to join the meeting, the member state can apply for membership to that committee.
