SMIIC Secretary General, H.E. İhsan ÖVÜT has participated in the latest three OIC meetings including the 3rd General Assembly Meeting of Islamic Organization for Food Security of the OIC (IOFS) held on 02-03 December 2020, the 47^th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC (CFM) held in Niamey, Republic of Niger on 27-28 November 2020 and the 36^th Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the OIC (COMCEC) which was held virtually on 25-26 November 2020.

Attending the meetings of the sister OIC institutions is very essential to enhance cooperation dialogues and to find common areas and projects to conduct together in serving to the needs of OIC members by utilizing from the strength and power of the joint action.  

IOFS Meeting

The Third General Assembly of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) was hosted virtually under the topic “Sustainable Development of Food Security in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Region” on 02-03 December 2020.

CFM Meeting

The 47^th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC (CFM) was held in Niamey, Republic of Niger on 27-28 November 2020 under the theme “United Against Terrorism for Peace and Development”.

COMCEC Meeting

The 36^th Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the OIC (COMCEC) was held virtually on 25-26 November 2020.
