SMIIC MC Training in Traceability of Time and Practical Applications for Calibration of Quartz Oscillator

The 25st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V2 was the Traceability of Time and Practical Applications for Calibration of Quartz Oscillator that took place on the 25 May 2022 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat.  20 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: SASO National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)

General Description: The training covers information on definition of time, traceability of time and frequency and the applications, which get benefits of these measurements.

Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to clarify the basic definition of time, traceability of time and frequency and the applications of some activity, which get benefits of these measurements, which are required to be measured in the field of time and frequency.

Who should attend: The training should be attended by the staff working in Time and Frequency laboratories at the level of national metrology institutes or secondary level calibration laboratories.
