SMIIC MC Training on Calibration of Radiation Thermometers by Comparison Method and Black Body

The 27st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V2 was the Calibration of Radiation Thermometers by Comparison Method and Black Body that took place on the 25 July 2022 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat.  17 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: SASO National Metrology and Calibration Center (NMCC)

General Description: The training covers information on definition of radiation thermometers and black body and the applications, which get benefits of these measurements.

Objective, expected outcome: This training course aims to clarify the basic definition of radiation thermometers the applications of some activity, which get benefits of these measurements, which are required to be measured in the field of thermal radiation.

Who should attend: The training should be attended by the staff working in thermal radiation laboratories at the level of national metrology institutes or secondary level calibration laboratories.
