H.E. Mr. Mahmut Sami ŞAHİN, President of Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) and SMIIC Chairman of the BOD and his accompanying delegation paid a courtesy visit to the SMIIC headquarters on 10 August 2022. Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT, Secretary General of SMIIC welcomed the TSE delegation and expressed his thanks for the visit, noting that this is an important opportunity towards enhancing the current level of cooperation.

For his part, H.E. Mr. Mahmut Sami ŞAHİN reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to supporting the activities of SMIIC and expressed his gratitude for the hospitality exerted during his visit.

It was a fruitful meeting where H.E. Mr. Mahmut Sami ŞAHİN met with General Secretariat Staff and exchanged views on how to further improve SMIIC.
