SMIIC General Secretariat co-organized the seminar and capacity-building training on OIC SMIIC 1, 2, and 9 for public and private sectors on 01-03 June 2023, in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The program consisted of two parts: Part 1: seminar on the “Preparation and qualification improvement of Specialists in the field of Halal Industry in the Kyrgyz Republic”. The Seminar was attended physically by approximately 70 representatives and 20 online from the public and private sectors in the Kyrgyz Republic and during this Seminar SMIIC delegates gave a presentation about Introduction to SMIIC and its activities. Part 2: Foundation training for “Consultants on implementation of requirements on OIC SMIIC 1, 2, and 9” during the 01-03 June 2023, in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. The training was attended by 40 experts physically and 20 online from the public and private sectors in the Kyrgyz Republic. The training concluded with an exam, and participants who pass will receive certificates.
