SMIIC organized a training course on OIC SMIIC 4 General Requirements on Halal Cosmetics for Women Experts on 06-07 June 2023 virtually in accordance with SMIIC Strategic Plan 2021- 2030 and Declaration on Gender Responsive Standards initiative by UNECE. Two days training was attended by approximately 170 women from both OIC and non-OIC countries.

This training aimed to strengthen the use of standards and technical regulations as powerful tools to attain SDG 5 (Achieve Gender Equality and Empower all Women and Girls) and to integrate a gender lens in the development of both standards and technical regulations and elaborate gender indicators and criteria that could be used in standards development starting with capacity building for women experts.

- Requirements of OIC SMIIC 4
- Evaluation Test
