We are pleased to announce that, upon the request from the Libyan National Center for Standardization and Metrology (LNCSM), the SMIIC General Secretariat co-organized and successfully conducted a comprehensive five-day training program on OIC SMIIC 1 Halal Food auditor for the LNCSM staff from June 12th to June 16th, 2023, in Istanbul. The training, conducted entirely in Arabic, aimed to enhance the expertise and knowledge of the participants.
The training program covered a wide range of essential topics, including:
- Introduction to SMIIC and its activities
- OIC SMIIC Standards addressing Halal issues
- Auditing Requirements and Methodology
- Technical and Sharia aspects of OIC SMIIC 1 and 2
- Planning and Halal Critical Control Points related to Product Groups
- Engaging Case Studies
- Evaluation Test to assess comprehension and proficiency
