The 48st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was the Introduction to Metrology in Chemistry that took place on the 11 October 2023   virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 30 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: TUBITAK-UME

General Description: The training covers general and practical aspects of metrology and metrology in chemistry

Objective, expected outcome: To understand purpose of metrology and familiarize with metrology in chemistry.

To provide knowledge an overview metrology in chemistry.

Who should attend: The training would be attended by staff working in chemistry laboratories at the level of National Metrology Institutes or secondary level testing laboratories.
