The 57st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was the Water Meters for Cold and Hot Water that took place on the 29 November 2023 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 5 experts participated in the training.

General Description: The training specifies the metrological and technical requirements for water meters in a closed conduit.
Objective, expected outcome: To provide information about metrological characteristics, verification and conformity assessment of water meters to understand and implement legal metrology aspects.
Who should attend: The training would be attended by staff working in legal metrology authorities, verification bodies, manufacturers, inspection bodies who wants to gain a comprehensive knowledge of water meters.
