The 58st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was the Verifications of Non-automatic Weighing Instruments that took place on the 30 November 2023 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 15 experts participated in the training.
The training was hosted by NMI: TÜBİTAK-UME
General Description: The training specifies the necessary technical knowledge for verifications of non-automatic weighing instruments and how to carry out verifications of non-automatic weighing instruments.
Objective, expected outcome: To provide information about metrological characteristics in order to verify non-automatic weighing instruments and about how to carry out verifications by sharing a practical example of an instrument.
Who should attend: The training would be attended by staff working in legal metrology authorities, verification bodies, and inspection bodies who want to gain comprehensive knowledge on the verification of non-automatic weighing instruments.
