SMIIC Conducts Its First Private-Sector Training on OIC/SMIIC 1: 2019 General Requirements for Halal Food- Foundation Training- Private Sector (Russian)

SMIIC successfully conducted its first private-sector training on OIC/SMIIC 1: 2019 General Requirements for Halal Food- Foundation Training- on 02–04 September 2025. The three-day online course hosted 16 participants from Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.

the training covered:

An introduction to the activities and role of SMIIC (Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries),

OIC SMIIC Standards related to halal issues,

Detailed requirements and implementation of the OIC SMIIC 1:2019 standard.

The program concluded with an evaluation test to assess the participants' grasp of the topics presented.
