The 17th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V2 was the Calibration of gauge blocks by comparison method that took place on the 15 September 2025 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 33 experts participated in the training.

- Understand the principles of gauge block calibration;
- Correct handling of gauge blocks;
- Determine sources of measurement error and uncertainty;
- Train on evaluation and calculation of measurement uncertainty.
Who should attend: The training should be attended by the responsible staff for dimensional labs.
