The 14th SMIIC Technical Committee (TC) Week was successfully held from 22–26 September 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, co-organized with the Department of Standards Malaysia. The event gathered distinguished delegates from numerous member states and organizations, reflecting the continued growth of the SMIIC family and its commitment to international standardization.
This year’s TC Week was conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person participation in Kuala Lumpur with remote attendance via online platforms. The meetings provided an efficient and collaborative environment where Technical Committees advanced their ongoing projects, discussed strategic initiatives, and strengthened cooperation among member states.
Throughout the week, 16 Technical Committee and Committee on Conformity Assessment (CCA) meetings were organized, covering a wide range of standardization topics. Constructive deliberations enabled delegates to make significant progress on draft standards, plan new projects, and enhance alignment with OIC and international priorities.
