The 23th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V2 was the The Training on Calibration of pH meters using certified reference materials that took place on the 23 October 2025 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 28 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: SASO NMCC

General Description: The training covers information on the multipoint calibration of pH-meters and Sources of uncertainty

Objective, expected outcome: To provide knowledge to participants of the importance of pH measurements and how to calibrate the devices used for this purpose.

 Who should attend: Staff working in metrology laboratories at the level of NMIs and testing laboratories.
