The 28th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V2 was the The ISO/IEC 17043:2023: Implementation, Risks and Recommendations (UzNIM Case Study) that took place on the 15 December 2025 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 14 experts participated in the training.

General Description: This training provides a practical overview of ISO/IEC 17043:2023 based on the UzNIM case study, focusing on key updates, implementation steps, and the application of risk-based thinking in proficiency testing activities.
Objective, expected outcome:To explain the structure and key updates of ISO/IEC 17043:2023 compared to the 2010 version.To share UzNIM’s experience in implementing the standard.To identify and evaluate risks and opportunities in the planning, coordination, statistical evaluation, and reporting of PT activities.
