The 25th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V2 was the The Training on Secondary pH (preparation, measurement and evaluation of uncertainty) that took place on the 18 November 2025 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 34 experts participated in the training.
The training was hosted by NMI: Uzbek National Metrology Institute (UZNIM)
General Description: The training explanes the process by using the 9.18 pH secondary buffer as an example.
Objective, expected outcome: The training course aims to:
- Preparation of 9.18 pH secondary buffer;
- Measuring process of 9.18 pH secondary buffer ;
- Train on evaluation and calculation of measurement uncertainty.
Who should attend: The responsible staff for optic labs should attend the training.
