H.E. Mr. Ihsan OVUT, Secretary General of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), paid an official visit to SASO headquarters in Riyadh, where he met with H.E. Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMIIC and SASO Governor.

During the meeting, the they reviewed the progress of SMIIC’s ongoing work and exchanged views on the Institute’s plans and programs for the year 2026.

The visit contributed to strengthening coordination within SMIIC’s governance structure and supporting the effective implementation of its strategic objectives.
