A high-level delegation from the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), led by Secretary General Mr. İhsan ÖVÜT, officially launched a technical visit to the National Institute of Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI) in line with the SMIIC Strategic Plan 2021–2030, Initiative No. 3, titled "Conduct awareness workshops in Member States as part of the Knowledge Transfer Workshops for SMIIC Member States project.". The delegation was received by Mr. Nafâa Boutiti, Director General of INNORPI and relevant experts of INNORPI were present during the session.

The Workshop aimed to deepen Tunisian experts' involvement in SMIIC Technical Committees and ensure a harmonized approach to the OIC Global Halal quality infrastructure.
