The meeting focused on the practical implementation of the OIC/SMIIC 2 standard, which outlines general requirements for accreditation bodies.

The discussion centered on enhancing the technical competence of auditors and fostering mutual recognition of Halal certificates. By aligning TUNAC’s processes with SMIIC standards, the collaboration seeks to facilitate smoother international trade for Tunisian businesses within the OIC region and beyond.
